01 / BEFORE

A year ago, though, the business behind those numbers was held together mostly by Nate himself. He was running sales, hiring, client management, and day-to-day operations all at once, at $15K MRR, with new clients waiting over 7 days to get onboarded through a manual process built on copy-pasted messages sent one at a time.

There was no single system holding the operation together. Client information, project tracking and internal documentation were spread across Google Sheets, Google Docs, Trello and Notion. Most editors and clients were also coordinating over Discord, with no central structure behind it.

02 / THE SOLUTION

I rebuilt CCM’s operations around one automated system instead of five disconnected ones.

I rebuilt CCM’s operations around one automated system instead of five disconnected ones.

I designed a Notion database wired to Make.com that runs the business day to day, cutting tens of hours a week out of manual operational work.

For onboarding, I replaced the manual process with an automated sequence covering the onboarding form, Slack invitation, call booking, internal notifications and client updates. I also moved the operation from Discord to Slack and connected the communication layer with the new operational system.

Once that infrastructure was in place, I took direct responsibility for hiring, client management and day-to-day operations, removing those responsibilities from Nate’s plate.
